Culture diagnosis and action plan for a critical cyber function
Due to the nature of cyber security work, the joining of disparate teams, and the way individual teams had formed over time, a critical cyber function was very siloed, with deeply entrenched ways of working that needed to be realigned to deliver on the new business strategy set by the Chief Information Security Officer.
Artemis were engaged to help reshape the function into a single galvanised team with a shared mission, common values and more effective and collaborative ways of working. The Artemis team engaged staff and assessed the culture against a tailored diagnostic tool to identify areas for improvement. Based upon this analysis, the team developed a practical, evidence-based culture action plan, outlining the steps the function needed to take to become an innovative and high performing team. The team also supported the leadership team to own and communicate the actions with a key focus on listening and improving the function together.
