About us
We knew there was a better way to work with our clients, and a more meaningful and equitable way of working for our team.
We established Artemis in 2019 with a fresh perspective on consulting and a focus on being the change we want to see.
We invest in our clients' success and work with them to drive positive change.
Our team of senior experts help clients succeed through well-considered, planned and executed strategy, culture and transformation.
Just like our namesake - Artemis, the huntress of Greek mythology - we are agile, observant, energetic and steadfast in the pursuit of our shared goals, and we unlock the potential in others to strengthen their capability.
Meet our Partners
Our partners are present and on the ground with you; our teams are experts and together we work with you to drive the change you need – at whatever scale.
Mary Souter
STRATEGY, GOVERNANCE & CULTURE
Mary’s passion and strength lies in helping executives develop a clear and compelling vision for the future. She then masterfully aligns their organisation, stakeholders and governance structures to ensure successful delivery.
-
Mary has worked across both the private and public sector, including on some of the Australian Government’s largest citizen-centric and technology transformations.
Mary’s extensive experience in the design and delivery of complex transformations, her background in program and change management, and her skills in operating model design and governance help her clients drive accountability, respond to risk, and monitor the ongoing success of their initiatives.
A closet nerd, Mary loves puzzles of all kinds. Both at home and at work she loves stretching her mind to find new patterns and achieving the satisfaction of a neatly solved problem.
Helena Cain
TRANSFORMATION & COMMUNICATION
Helena lands strategies, makes large challenges less complex and helps teams find courage and confidence to do their best work. She brings depth, breadth and insight to every opportunity, underpinned by 25 years’ experience.
-
Helena has managed all aspects of change across some of Australia’s largest and more innovative programs, including the world-first biometric-based automated border processing, identity management, welfare payment transformation and Defence’s $5B ICT-driven transformation. She’s also led research, business analysis, engagement and strategic communication initiatives.
She has experience across communication, change, transition, transformation, big four management consulting, and in earlier years, journalism, public affairs, marketing and publishing.
Helena finds fun in most things, and when she’s not working she’s either riding her bike, socialising, up a hill somewhere or thinking about training for the City to Surf.
Renee Dockrill
ORGANISATIONAL DESIGN & ALIGNMENT
With 20 years’ experience Renee leans right into organisational alignment, driven by the commercial efficiency and effectiveness that the right combination of enabling process, people and governance systems bring.
-
Renee’s background in commerce and psychology combine a strong analytical and evidence-based approach to business decisions and structural alignment, with an understanding of the human factors at play, that ultimately determine success.
Renee has consulted across Government, private and the not-for-profit sectors to develop and deliver the organisational alignment and assurance required to support significant programs, including transformational change spanning technology, process and cultural transition.
Renee also effectively applies her expertise on the home front - with three children, getting out of the house in the morning requires a precise mix of stakeholder management, process optimisation, performance measures and just a little bit of luck.
Carla’s passion is helping people and organisations succeed through the journey of transformational change. She translates between big picture objectives and the practical steps needed to engage and motivate teams.
Carla Ewin
STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS & CULTURE
-
Carla surfaces the motivations, distractions, influencers and networks that impact stakeholder support, and designs strategies to build momentum and commitment to change. Her communication plans take audiences on the transformation journey in more personal, meaningful and impactful ways.
Carla draws on her experience leading stakeholder engagement for major Government transformations and supporting banking sector leadership teams in post-financial crisis London to rebuild organisational culture, behaviours and reputation.
As a mother with young children, Carla finds that many of the tools and techniques she has developed to help organisations motivate and influence behaviours are equally applicable in her home life.
