Strategic business and workforce alignment
We enabled a pivoting and growing strategic policy branch to align functions, priorities and workforce with changing strategic drivers, requirements, and their significantly increased funding.
Through desk research and intensive engagement, we gathered the needs, expectations, priorities, and satisfaction levels of internal, external and executive stakeholders to shape future state requirements. We then engaged with the branch of over 30 to co-develop the future state functions, team structures, workforce requirements and subsequent roadmap to that future state.
Through the collaborative process we also addressed team dynamics concerns.
The team moved to its new structure within 14 weeks of the start of our engagement and undertook an optimised recruitment process to grow in keeping with strategic imperatives.
