Business strategy and model for a private sector takeover
A mid-sized private sector organisation was embarking on a significant business transformation and change of leadership. This transformation included a transition of ownership and leadership, simplification and restructuring of the core business, a reduction in overheads, potential sale of assets and a refocus of investment for the future.
Through a series of strategy workshops, we assisted the incoming leadership team to clarify a unifying vision for the future of the organisation, reset the strategic direction of the business and redefine the business model that would support them in achieving it. This approach allowed the leaders to take full ownership of the future of the organisation, uncover and understand the risks and dependencies that they would need to manage and address to successfully launch their new business model, and to develop a clear plan and communications strategy to promote their approach with the internal team, external stakeholders and the market.
